Once a developer has received approval for their construction plans and paid all required all SCWA fees, they can schedule a pre-construction meeting with the Construction & Inspections Department. During this meeting, the SCWA staff will go over the developer close-out package in detail.
At the pre-construction meeting, you’ll receive the necessary documents to complete after reviewing them.

A Certificate of Occupancy (CO) will not be issued until all required documents have been approved by the Authority.

For initial and subsequent submittals, two (2) sets of as-built plans are required until final approval. Once approved, SCWA will request one (1) final set, along with a digital copy.
